Thafknar – Record and Reverb 8.6

Thafknar offers a multifunctional approach to audio recording and manipulation, featuring tools for audio playback, file reverb application, and support for various audio stream platforms (such as Audiobus, IAA, AUv3; the latter requiring an in-app purchase).

Users can import audio files via iTunes File Sharing or Document Interaction methods, as well as create new recordings utilizing the app's integrated audio recorder. Post-recording enhancements are available with the option to add reverb effects before saving or playing back the files. Real-time reverberation is achievable through play-through mode. For reverb generation, Thafknar utilizes iOS Audio Unit capabilities or its convolution reverb engine (recommended for optimal performance on iPad 4 or newer models).

The app also includes several in-app purchase options:

• MIDI Control: Enables users to manage specific app functions through MIDI messages.
• Preset Buttons: Provides the functionality to select presets by interacting with designated interactive buttons that can be customized with text or images. This feature facilitates the creation of personalized sample players.
• Convolution Audio Unit: Introduces the ability to utilize the convolution reverb engine within Thafknar as an AUv3 app extension.
